Switzerland’s plans for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest:

Selection: Die Grosse Entscheidungsshow 2014: One final after three pre-selections and a live audition
Date: Final on February 1st
Switzerland will participate in the (2nd half of) the second semi-final of the 2014 ESC, on May 8th

November 4th – 18th: SRF (German) (& RTR) internet selection 158 uploaded entries → 9 candidates
November 4th – 18th: RTS (French) internet selection 33 uploaded entries → 6 candidates
November 13th: RSI (Italian) internal regional final 23 submitted entries → 3 candidates
November 30th: Live audition 18 candidates → 6 finalists
December 1st: The finalists will be announced 3 from SRF, 2 from RTS, 1 from RSI
February 1st: Final 6 finalists → 1 winner
