Anette: OK, it would have been nicer to win the last game before the break… but it’s no disaster. Avangard’s only 6 or 7 points away from the playoffs, see the Current Standing here, and there’re still 29 games and 87 points left to play for, so I’m not worried. But it sure would have been nice if they could come back after Karjala cup and win most (some) of their away games against CSKA (Nov. 13), Dinamo Riga (Nov. 15), Lev Praha (Nov. 17) and Slovan (Nov. 19). 😀
